Here's some information for you regarding the AP exam:
Tasks for this week:
Review the tasks posted last week. If you are finished with those, there are two more options below.
- This year's exam will be essay-only and completed in 45 minutes at home. Options will allow you to use any type of device and possibly even submit a picture of a hand-written essay (some of these details are still being sorted). There will be no multiple choice.
- We will learn more about this newly designed exam (date option, details about the essay, etc.) on April 3
- There will be two options for testing dates.
- If you don't have the technology or connectivity and are taking the AP test, the College Board is asking you to let them know by contacting them through their website. Please do this ASAP, and let me know if you have difficulty.
- There will be an option to back out of the exam if you would like. More information will be available regarding this option after April 3.
Tasks for this week:
Review the tasks posted last week. If you are finished with those, there are two more options below.
- Try to read for 150 minutes. Let's open this up -- you can read whatever you want for the remainder of the school year. Nonfiction, young adult fiction, pop fiction...anything! I heard that Audible is allowing students to use their service for free right now. Maybe it's a good time to try a good audio book!
- IF you're taking the AP test, the College Board is hosting 3 virtual classes this week to help fill the gap since you aren't in school. I strongly encourage you attend live or view them at your leisure. They will take place this Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 12:00-12:45.
